Church day

Thursday, Friday and Saturday I totally forgot to post, sorry to the probably no one who's reading these.

Today however was church day. I go to this place called The Link where high school students in a group called Element get together worship and are taught bible lessons. It was great, one of the verses that stood out to me was 2 Corinthians 15 something and Galatians 4:6. Nice verses, go look them up.

On Saturday, I went out a got Pokemon Diamond. Thus far it's pretty fun. I also got a book I've got to read for Women's lit called The Jane Austen Book Club.

So yeah, nothing much is happening.

BUT, next weekend I'm going to Universal Studios with Element!!!! SO happy! I am in love with all things Marvel so YEAH!!!

Life with Friends who care

Today I met with my small group, they help me realize how big and small I am in the world. They keep me real. We discussed the book of Amos, explaining the awesomeness of God and the things he's done for us as he did for the Israelites and how we sometimes react as they did, with no gratefulness. We also happened to talk about hard things with dads, friends and influences. It made me grateful for my great friends and glad that my influences are great people. I really need to remember to read Romans and find a good guide to Amos so I can read that, too.

My school day went about the same, though. We had some fun talk in Women's Lit. about movies, chik lit. and meth, surprising right? World History was interesting. We talked about Marie Antionette and Louis XVI and the French Revolution. It brought back memories of Les Misarables and Hetalia France. After school we had a confrence and Dual Enrollment, I really hope I can do it and get though with a ride, money and time. When I got home I found out that my copy of Kingdom Hearts 2 had got there. Oh goodness, I am so happy about that.

Life is okay. It may not be pretty, or gratifying, but it's worth it. Every moment of goodness makes the bad stuff worth while.

Adventures in Tea at Preacher's House

Today, not all that different from yesterday.

In the morning there was some cooking drama. I have to cook lunch for myself in the mornings because my mom doesn't want me to eat school food, so the cooking didn't go well. Then my brother decided he didn't want to get dressed to day, so when his friend came to meet up with him he wasn't dressed. I had to run around after him to be sure light and doors were closed. Grr!!

At school, geometry wasn't bad. Dad brought me that calculator and I got to use it on the test today. I think I did good on it. Some parts confused me, but whateve. (Side moment: I'm listening to some weird remake of Mr.Brightside and it's really weird.) Women's lit was cool we're reading Secret Life of Bees which thus far is cool. I liked reading Pride and Prejudice, but this moves a lot faster so I might like it more. I don't know. Lunch was whateve, too. My thermos food always gets cold by lunchtime, which is gross. During Bus. Ess., we found out that we're doing a report instead of a test which is cool, but my group has leadership issues. I think we nearly finished it all today though. Last class of the day, we took notes, found out our grades on the quiz yesterday, and I talked to my bf for about the rest of the time. For note we talked about John Locke and Mary Wollstonecraft or whatever. I got a 65 on the quiz, but then the teacher realized a mistake and I now have made a 70, yeah!! Me and buddy who will be from henceforth called Kallie. had a not so deep conversation about one of her romance books which she has now given up because they give her expectations for her husband/boyfriend dude. We then went to Art club to finish random conversation and then she left. I just walked home instead of waiting for a ride.

A bit after I got home, I got picked up for my coolio, now, Bible study with my pastor's wife. She's preggo and full of a the awesomeness you can imagine. I'm going to be going through the book of Romans with her, so if there is random talk of that, that's what's going on. BTW I had tea for the first time there, it was kind of cool. Some Mandarin Orange stuff.

New Name

So, I'm going to start with the junk that happened to day w/ some of my history

The morning was okay, I got my hair cut on Saturday so that was new. I realized that my calculator would not do what I needed it to in geometry. Now my dad is off to find one in CVS. BTW parents are divorced, not much love for vater but love love love my mom. During lunch I freaked, studied and did my homework for tonight so as not to bring the book home. Finished studying in my class after lunch and that was no prob 'cause we don't do anything there anyway. History was fun 'cause now whenever we talk about a certain country I feel the need to doodle a Hetalia version of the country. After school I hung out with my best friend ever, got a ride home w/ her. Now I'm going to go finish my homework and feel sad that I missed House M.D. again.

If anybody happening to read this feels like talking to me about what ever just message me.
